** Adoration of Jesus in the Most Blessed Sacrament of the Altar: Our Blessed Lord invites you to spend one hour with Him in adoration. Any day/ any hour is fine in the Chapel in the Friary. SIgn up in the rear of the Church. Come and pray for our parish, country, and world.
** Spring Pancake Breakfast: A belated thank you to all who helped make this a successful gathering of friends and parishioners. If it weren't for the "old" and "new" faces helping out, this would never have gotten off the ground!
**The Archdiocesan Stewardship Appeal continues. You can make a pledge by mail or by filling out an envelope in the Church pews. Help if you can.
Holy Cross Church: On August 12,1979 a ground breaking ceremony was held for the new Holy Cross Church. Terence Cardinal Cooke dedicated the Church on July 20 1980. Thanks to Fr. Anthony F. Moore, OFM the parish had its first permanent home since 1860.

St. Patrick's Church: In 1897 the Catholics in Long Eddy borrowed $700 to build a place of worship. Though the church was not completed until 1904, the first Mass was celebrated on Christmas Day 1903. On November 8, 1906, the Church was dedicated by Right Reverend Thomas Cusack, Auxiliary Bishop of New York.

Fr. Ignatius E. Smith, OFM: Celebrated 50 years of priesthood in 2006, has been the cornerstone of both parishes since coming to Sullivan County in 1995.
